CancerCare Fundraising Status

As some of you know, the WTBA and MBA are selling 50-50 tickets at some of our local tournaments to raise money for CancerCare Manitoba (half goes towards the fight against Breast Cancer, and half goes towards Prostate Cancer).  It's a wonderful cause, and thanks go out to all who volunteer to do this.  We appreciate all of the support that you, the bowlers, have been giving to this effort, and hope that you continue to see it in your hearts to participate in these draws when you have the opportunity. Tickets are 3 for $2.00, or 9 for $5.00. We will keep a running total of the funds raised for the season, on this page.

From Pam Buote: Another bowling season will soon come to the end. Speaking on my behalf, I would personally would like to say CONGRATS to all the winners who participated in the Cancer Care Mb. 50/50 Draws. The 2011/2012 draws all took place during 10-pin bowling Tournaments.
I was unable to work at most tournaments due to many surgeries & health issues !!! BUT !!! I had help from the WTBA Board/Directors, and the MBA Board/Directors. A BIG THANKS goes out to Ron, Geri, Patricia, Peter, Wanda, the two Joan's & Dan for helping out. You all made it another successful year of fundraising. ((( GREAT JOB )))).
As you all know the plaque was finally mounted on the wall at the HSC- Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation. It's located in the hallway near the Sherbrooke entrance. Pics are on my Facebook site, or go down & see for yourself. !!!! HURRAY !!!!
In closing, I would once again say thanks. Looking forward to another successful 2012/2013 season. Have a safe, fun, wonderful summer holiday. Take Care.

The 2009-10 Season was our first year - It set the bar pretty high, but I'm sure we can beat it !!
