Austyn Ducharme - First-Ever 700 Series!
Austyn Ducharme, who is only 13 years old, has just shot his first-ever 700 series, on November 19th, while bowling in the MBA Youth Annual Tournament, at Chateau Lanes.
When I asked Austyn about it, he couldn't quite remember his game scores. Whew! That's when you're in a zone! <grin>. But he did remember that he was using his Spitfire the whole time.
I wanted to know if he was nervous at the end, and his story blew me away. He didn't even realize he was that close until it was all over. So nerves never even came into play. Thank goodness that he got a strike in his fill ball, because that gave him EXACTLY 700 for the series!
He's only 13, so I'm guessing there's going to be A LOT MORE great things we're going to hear about Austyn's bowling in the future.
