Manitoba tops the medal count at
the Cdn Youth Championships!
Well, the Canadian Tenpin Federation (CTF)
Canadian Youth Championships were held this past weekend (May 28-31),
in St. Catharines, Ontario. And Manitoba bowlers did awesome!
They won 11 Individual medals, 3 Doubles medals, and 3
Team medals. Here are the details...
The Girls team members are:
Marissa Naylor (Bantam), Brittany Crawford (Junior), Danielle
Lemoine (Intermediate), and Shauna Franchewski (Senior).
The Boys team members are:
Austyn Ducharme (Bantam), Mitch Hupé (Junior), Joseph
Franchewski (Intermediate), and Catlin Crandall (Senior).
Team Event - Both teams took Gold
Team All-Events (total pinfall of all bowlers for entire
tournament) - Manitoba took Bronze
Bantam Doubles (Marissa/Austyn) - Gold
Junior Doubles (Brittany/Mitch) - Bronze
Intermediate Doubles (Danielle/Joseph) - Gold
Individual Medals:
Singles event: Marissa - Bronze ; Austyn - Bronze ; Brittany - Silver
; Danielle - Gold ; Shauna - Silver
Singles All-Events: Marissa - Silver ; Austyn - Gold ; Brittany -
Silver ; Mitch - Gold ; Danielle - Gold ; Shauna - Bronze
