Never Give up!!
On Friday, Dec 11th, 2009, two bowlers from
the Northwest Mixed Blind League proved that you should never give
up.
MaryAnn Chase
and Pam Buote achieved a goal
they have been striving towards for many years. Both of them
rolled their first 200 games, EVER ! Yahoo!!
By the way, it wasn't like they JUST made it
to 200 either - they clobbered it!
MaryAnn's game was a 216. She has been trying for a 200 game
for 11 years!
And Pam's was a whopping 224! She's been trying to reach 200 for 7
years!
And, for those of you who don't know it, Pam is one of the league
members who is a Registered Blind person. So this feat is even more
special for her, considering the obstacles she has to overcome.
Way to go Ladies !!
