First-Ever 700 Series - 2 of Them!
No.... Make that THREE of them !!
Some of us "old-timers" have a saying: "Once you get the first one, the rest come easy!"
Well, this could be the case for Brittany, who bowled her first 700 series ever, on Jan 29th, in the Adult-Youth doubles tournament held at Chateau Lanes. Her first three games of the day were 226, 234, and 245, for a 705 series. Her performance was key to helping propel her and her doubles partner - Vince Solimka - to the stepladder finals in the tournament, where they also bowled well, but ended up in 2nd place.
And then, exactly two weeks later, Brittany bowled another 700 series - this time in her Chateau Seniors League, on Feb 12th. She had games of 206, 221, and 278 for another 705 series !!
I have a feeling that we'll be hearing a lot more about Brittany's bowling achievements - and probably in the very near future!
Okay, we've got an update: Brittany has just bowled yet another 705 series. This time in the Laverendrye Seniors league on Feb 27th. She rolled games of 253, 256, and 196. I'd say that 2012 is looking like Brittany's year !!
